NSW Seniors Card is committed to helping seniors across NSW live active, socially connected lives and participate in the community. They're passionate about partnering with businesses across the state to help make this a reality, all while helping these businesses connect with new and loyal customers.
Getting more businesses involved During September and October 2018 NSW Seniors Card is conducting a Local Business Blitz to encourage more businesses to get on board with the program and connect with seniors in their area.
Businesses and cardholders have a chance to WIN Businesses that sign up during the campaign automatically go in the draw to win a $10,000 promotional package. The package will be tailored to the business’s needs and could include direct mail to Seniors Card members, EDMs, website banners, social media promotions through the Seniors Card Facebook page and more.
They’re also asking NSW Seniors Card holders to nominate businesses in their local area who they would like to see participate. Cardholders who nominate a business during the campaign will go in the draw to win one of three $500 Visa gift cards – perfect for a shopping spree with NSW Seniors Card businesses.
Seniors Card is great for the community
The discounts and deals our participating businesses offer to cardholders help relieve the cost of living pressures for seniors in our community.
The program encourages seniors to live active, social and connected lives as they get older.
There are over 8,000 discounts available to cardholders from 5,700 participating businesses and the NSW Government is investing to make it even bigger and better.
The program’s 1.6 million cardholders use their membership to discover new shops, services and experiences in their community and beyond and enjoy the opportunities to shop locally with businesses that support them.
Major partners include AGL, InsureandGo, Vodafone, Woolworths, Cellarmasters, Laithwaite’s and Transport for NSW.
Seniors Card is good for business
It’s easy and free to participate as a business.
NSW Seniors Card has 1.6 million cardholders – 90% of NSW’s senior's population.
80* per cent of individuals over the age of 60 choose to spend their money locally and support businesses in their community.
61 per cent of NSW seniors wished more local businesses honoured the Seniors Card, with 70 per cent agreeing that they’d go back to a business if it offered a Seniors Card discount.
