Finalists decided in Your Say Snowy Monaro Photo Comp
The Snowy Monaro region is a photographer's paradise. Whether it's an image capturing the snow-capped peaks, a farmer toiling away in the paddock or even a platypus frolicking in the water - this region boasts endless beauty.
To celebrate the launch of the Your Say Snowy Monaro engagement site and the commencement of our Community Strategic Plan (CSP) consultation we asked the community to enter the Your Say Snowy Monaro Photo Competition. The finalists have been decided and soon there will be an exhibition held to showcase their work.
Snowy Monaro Regional Council’s photographic competition aimed to promote and encourage participation, originality and creativity within the Snowy Monaro region.
Entries closed at 5pm Friday 30 June, as stated in the Terms and Conditions. Judging Judging of the competition will take place in two stages; online and a public exhibition. Images were loaded onto Council’s Facebook page, where the community voted for their favourite images.
The top five (5) images from each age group and category have moved on to the final stage of judging and will be displayed at a public exhibition with final judging from an independent party. Date of exhibition to be advised. To view this year's finalists click here.
