ComPacks Program

ComPacks - a NSW Health partnership

Snowy Monaro Regional Council provides the ComPacks program via the Werri-Nina Centre in Cooma. ComPacks is a short term package of community support services aimed at helping people to manage a safe return home from hospital. A ComPacks package is available for up to six weeks following a hospital discharge and can assist with services such as: meals, domestic assistance, personal care, respite, transport and social support.

People who are in hospital and in need of case management and a combination of two or more community support services after discharge, are eligible for ComPacks services. Referrals for a ComPacks package are made by hospital staff during the admission period.

ComPacks is funded by NSW Health. For more information, including fees, or to discuss eligibility for these services, please contact the Coordinator on 02 6455 4010.

Information on the fees and charges for these services can be found in the SMRC Schedule of Fees and Charges.
