Livestock Loose on Dalgety Road near Berridale

Council has received a number of complaints in relation to unattended livestock on the Dalgety Road, near Berridale. Approximately 40 sheep including lambs and a bull are currently wandering along the road 5km from Berridale heading towards Dalgety.

General Manager, Joseph Vescio urges the public to drive cautiously until the road is clear of livestock.

“Council’s Ranger is currently on routine to bring the situation under control. In the meantime please drive with caution while travelling through the area”, said Mr Vescio.

Council is trying to contact the owners of the livestock to alert them to the issue and return them home safely.
Please contact Council if you have any information on who owns the livestock by phoning 1300 345 345.
