Stronger Communities Fund – Major Project Program Delegate Sportsground seating

Delegate residents are the latest to benefit from the delivery of a Stronger Communities Fund Major Project with the Delegate Sportsground receiving new seating.

As the latest SCF Major Project to be completed, the upgrades to the Delegate Sportsground will allow for improved seating options at the precinct.

Council worked with the Delegate Sportsground Committee to install new seats along the edge of the sportsground, as well as providing additional grandstand style seating.

“The two moveable, two tiered seats, have been very useful. They were moved around the venue for both the Delegate Show and Campdraft where needed,” Delegate Progress Association Secretary, Robin Guthrie said.

“We are very pleased, the seating looks fantastic.”

The completion of this SCF Major Project follows the delivery of a further three projects last week.

“Work is ramping up on the delivery of the SCF Major Projects. This project is a great outcome for the Delegate community and the seating has been very well received,” Snowy Monaro Regional Council Mayor, John Rooney said.
