Streetscape Projects

The Stronger Communities Fund Major Projects Program Streetscape Projects are currently underway.

Council’s consultant team engaged in delivering the Streetscape projects have visited the sites and the next step is for Council to organise community meetings to discuss the community’s vision for these major improvements.

Council welcomes feedback from the community and to ensure Council gets the best possible results, we intend to take our lead from the Snowy Monaro Regional Council community members.

The draft concepts will be built on feedback received during three days of community consultation workshops to be held from Monday 21 May 2018 – Wednesday 23 May 2018.

We understand that there will be community representatives that may be unable to attend these meeting. We ask that you put your ideas forward to your local community representative group to bring to the meeting on your behalf.

Meeting Times:

Monday 21 May 2018
9:00am – 10:00am Bibbenluke Community Hall
10:30am – 11:30am Cathcart Community Hall
12:30pm – 2:00pm Bombala Community Services Building
3:00pm – 4:30pm Delegate School of Arts

Tuesday 22 May 2018
10:00am – 11:00am Michelago Community Hall
11:30am – 12:30pm Bredbo Community Hall

Wednesday 23 May 2018

It is really exciting to reach this stage and Council looks forward to hearing your thoughts. This is an opportunity for local communities to share their story, to create a unique and remarkable image of each individual township which compliments the surrounding landscape.

Council wishes to ensure full potential for development, create more economic prospect and continue to support existing and future business within our region.
