Resource and waste facility closures over the holiday period

Snowy Monaro Regional Council would like to notify domestic and commercial customers that all resource and waste facilities, including transfer stations, will be closed on public holidays as well as the dates set out below.

Affected facilities are the Bombala, Cooma and Jindabyne landfills and the Adaminaby, Berridale, Bredbo, Delegate, Nimmitabel and Numeralla transfer stations.

The following closures dates apply at all resource and waste facility sites:
Christmas Day, Tuesday 25 December 2018 CLOSED
Boxing Day, Wednesday 26 December 2018 CLOSED
New Year’s Day, Tuesday 1 January 2019 CLOSED
Australia Day public holiday, Monday 28 January 2019 CLOSED

In addition, the following closures are scheduled during the upcoming holiday period to assist with staffing arrangements.

Bredbo Transfer Station will be closed on Monday 24, Saturday 29 and Monday 31 December 2018.

Numeralla Transfer Station will be closed on Monday 24, Sunday 30 and Monday 31 December 2018.

ScrapMart Cooma and Jindabyne will be closed from Monday 17 December 2018 and will reopen on the weekend of the 12 & 13 January 2019.

Regular operating hours will remain in place all other days over the holiday period.

Snowy Monaro Regional Council staff greatly appreciate your support during the closures and would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy and safe 2019.
