Expression of Interest - Do you need Waste to Art Materials?

Waste Horse.png

Council is looking to provide repurposed materials from our waste facilities for artists to use in the 2019 Lake Light Sculpture event.

To enable the Council to donate suitable materials, we need you, the artist, to nominate what items you would like to use in your waste-to-art projects. For example, you might be looking for:
• scrap steel
• timber offcuts
• pallets
• milk crates
• furniture
• crockery, cutlery, knick-knacks
• any other general waste materials

To nominate what items you would like Council to donate, please contact Resource and Waste Education Officer, Belinda Ingram, on 1300 345 345 or email

Please include:
• a list of all materials you are seeking
• your contact details so we can arrange a time to view and collect materials
• Proof of registration to the Lakelight Sculpture Event

Nominations close Wednesday 28 February. Items can be collected throughout February, upon arrangement.
