Bombala sewer mains cleaning and Inspection program, 10 - 31 August 2020

Residents in Bombala are advised that from 10 August 2020, the Bombala Sewer mains cleaning and inspection program will be in progress throughout the entire Bombala sewer network.

The Bombala sewer mains cleaning and inspection program is intended to enhance the operation and maintenance of sewer drainage infrastructure and access chambers (manholes).

This project will identify asset renewals in a priority program into the future to ensure the systems perform effectively with minimal pipe breaks, chokes while maintaining the health and wellbeing of the community.

This essential work is expected to commence on 10 August 2020.

Works will be carried out between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday only.

This cleaning and inspection program requires sewer mains to be jet cleaned & CCTV inspected for defects.

Please note all communication and works carried out, will be performed by Council’s approved contractor “Rangedale Drainage & Industrial Services” (Rangedale).

All work will be done in accordance with social distancing guidelines. Furthermore, we will endeavour to limit work in private properties to no more than 1-2 hours.

In addition to this notice, Rangedale will notify by letterbox drop, at least one week in advance of work to be undertaken in the specific street. Rangedale will also doorknock prior to entering private property to carry out works.

If you have any queries or concerns, please contact Rangedale Drainage Services on 0427313977 or Council’s representative, Greg Searle on 02 6455 1840 during business hours.

Council apologises for any inconvenience this work may cause and asks residents and motorists to be mindful of work crews, and plant & machinery that will be working on and around this program of works.
