Snowy Monaro Regional Council is seeking feedback on its Draft 2020 Operational Plan, Draft 2020 Revenue Policy and Draft 2020 Fees and Charges.

Resource and Waste Expo to showcase the 5Rs

In further efforts to help Snowy Monaro residents improve their recycling, Council is encouraging locals to head along to this year’s Resource and Waste Expo.

Cooma water quality update

Snowy Monaro Regional Council would like to advise that the Cooma water supply continues to comply with the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.

The quality of the town’s water supply is expected to improve within the next week.

If the current water quality of the Murrumbidgee River remains as is, it is anticipated the taste and odour issues in the water supply will subside.

Water quality update for Cooma residents

Snowy Monaro Regional Council would like to advise Cooma residents that they will notice an earthy taste and odour in their water supply.

Following flash flooding last week, water quality of the Murrumbidgee River has been adversely affected.

The NSW Department of Health has been notified and water samples will be sent for independent testing to ensure water quality objectives are met.

Removal of Elm trees on corner of Amos, Massie Streets Cooma

Centennial Park playground upgrade set to commence

Feedback sought for Bombala’s Therry St development
