Council has completed emergency maintenance works on Craigie Range Road, following its closure on Thursday 24 April 2025 due to weather-related damage. The road is now officially reopen to all traffic.

Reactive maintenance crews have been working to complete grading and resheeting of the damaged sections of Craigie Range Road, since the closure announcement 14 days ago. The road is open again to public traffic now that these works are complete.

Motorists are advised that a damaged drainage culvert running under Craigie Range Road has been identified and will be repaired or replaced as soon as resources are available. This is an isolated hazard located close to the edge of the road in one location. Hazard signage is in-place.

Council reminds drivers in the area and on all rural roads in our region to be alert, exercise caution, and always drive to the conditions.
