Chief Executive Officer

The most senior position in Snowy Monaro Regional Council's organisational structure is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Noreen Vu has been serving as our CEO since 14 July 2025.

Ms Vu's professional background includes senior roles in all levels of Australian government across strategy, policy and asset management. Her experience is complemented by her numerous post-graduate and undergraduate degrees held in a variety of fields.

Noreen is a strong proponent of grassroots engagement, and believes in the importance of connecting with community members face-to-face to engage local people on the decisions that affect them.
