Bin Collection Calendar

Garbage collection red weekly, Recycling yellow fortnightly, Food waste fortnightly

Residents of the Snowy Monaro region receive the following domestic kerbside collections:

  • Weekly Waste kerbside collection
  • Fortnightly Recycling kerbside collection
  • Fortnightly Food organics & garden organics waste (Cooma only) kerbside collection

  1. Downloading a digital copy for your specific collection area

 2. Pick up a copy from any Council office or waste facility (also at our libraries and Visitor Information Centres)

 3. Or request that copy be posted to you - phone 1300 345 345 during business hours or email.

Christmas and Public Holidays

Generally, waste, recycling and food organics and garden organics waste collections continue as normal on public holidays. The exceptions to this are for any collection that would routinely fall on Christmas Day or Good Friday. Council will notify residents of any revised collection dates via its social media channels.
