Extended: Delegate Transfer Station temporary operating days & hours

Residents in the Delegate area are advised that temporary changes to operating hours at the Delegate Transfer Station site will be extended until Friday 30 June 2023 to allow contractors to safely carry out extensive works to rehabilitate the old landfill.

This temporary change commenced in February and was scheduled to be completed this month. Due to delays in the rehabilitation works the completion date has been revised to the end of June 2023.

Delegate Transfer Station will continue to be open to the public between 9am to 1pm each Sunday while this work is carried out.

Bombala Landfill will be open as normal as an alternative option for residents.

Council apologises for the inconvenience and appreciates the community’s understanding.
