Kerrisons Creek Bridge upgrades and road closure

Due to safety and structural upgrades scheduled for Kerrisons Creek Bridge on Cathcart Road, Cathcart Road will be closed to through traffic from Monday 15 May 2023.

A detour along Black Lake Road to Monaro Highway will be in effect while work on the bridge is underway. The estimated completion date for this project is Monday 29 May 2023, weather depending.

Roadwork signage is in place providing information to local road users about the upcoming works.

Council appreciates the community’s patience and understanding while work is underway and traffic restrictions are in effect. This project will improve safety on Cathcart Road, and ensure Kerrisons Creek Bridge remains safe and reliable into the future.
