While road maintenance is scheduled in advance, it is often necessary to alter the program due to the determination of specific roads or unforeseen circumstances.

Whilst maintenance is scheduled in advance, it is often necessary to alter the program due to the determination of specific roads or unforeseen circumstances.
Our road maintenance team is continuing to undertake work on roads as well as assessments for claims under the current disaster declaration. At this stage, our estimates are in the order of $5 million worth of damage that we are working towards claiming under the two disaster declarations – AGRN 987 and AGRN 1012. Once received, Council has two years to spend this funding, however Council will be looking to undertake repairs as soon as resources permit.
