Council wants to let the community know about some roadwork happening in Cooma this Tuesday 26 March 2024.

Weather permitting, road crews will be line-marking the following streets in Cooma:

  • Soho Street (between Massie Street and Sharp Street)
  • Commissioner Street
  • Vale Street
  • Orana Avenue
  • Boundary Street

This line-marking work is the final part of recent maintenance work to repair these roads, as part of Council's road program.

Important information for residents:

  • Road crews will be working between 6am and 6pm on Tuesday 26 March.
  • Some roads may need to be closed for a short time during line-marking. Detours will be in place as needed, and drivers should plan ahead to avoid delays.
  • Do not park cars on the streets listed above between 6am and 6pm on Tuesday. The road needs to be empty for the lines to be painted, and the heavy equipment and paint-spraying could damage parked vehicles.

Residents and businesses on the affected streets should make plans ahead of time for parking and in case the road is closed during line-marking.

Council thanks residents for their patience and understanding during the final stage of these roadworks.
