Residents of the Snowy Monaro's smaller towns and villages are encouraged to have their say on the Village Library Outreach Service launching Friday 1 November 2024.

The Village Library Outreach Service will replace the current Mobile Library, and we want to hear from current Mobile Library users about how the new Village Library Outreach Service can best meet local needs.

Community feedback can be provided through an online survey on Council’s Your Say engagement website at https://qrco.de/YS-Library from Monday 2 September to Sunday 22 September 2024.

Pop-up stalls are scheduled between Thursday 5 September and Wednesday 18 September 2024 in all current Mobile Library towns and villages, giving residents an in-person opportunity to learn more about this transition and share their thoughts.

The Village Library Outreach Service aims to maintain accessibility by offering flexible pick-up options for pre-ordered books and other library resources.

Potential collection points under consideration include local schools, community halls, and Council offices.

For more information about the Village Library Outreach Service and to provide your feedback, visit https://qrco.de/YS-Library or contact our team today. Call 1300 345 345, or email council@snowymonaro.nsw.gov.au to get in touch.
