Residents in the Cambalong and Palarang region and drivers travelling along Cambalong Rd are advised that a 15-tonne limit bypass of the Redcliffe Bridge has been installed over Cambalong Creek.

Through traffic is now permitted to resume along Cambalong Rd, following closure of Redcliffe Bridge in February 2022 due to its unsafe condition.

LOCATION OF REDCLIFFE BRIDGE AND BYPASS

The bypass is located at one of the Cambalong Rd crossings of Cambalong Creek, located approximately 3km from the Palarang Rd intersection and approximately 11.5km from the Delegate Rd intersection.

A permanent replacement of the old timber Redcliffe Bridge is scheduled for the second half of 2023, courtesy of grant funding received under round 2A of the NSW Government’s Fixing Country Bridges program.
