Feedback invited on Council's audited 2022/23 Financial Statements

The Snowy Monaro community is invited to provide their feedback on Snowy Monaro Regional Council's 2022/23 Financial Statements. These statements are open for public comment until 11.59pm Tuesday 6 February 2024.

In accordance with Section 418 (3) of the Local Government Act 1993 (NSW), Snowy Monaro Regional Council advises that Council's audited Financial Statements and Auditor’s Reports for the year ending 30 June 2023 were presented at the Ordinary Council Meeting held on Thursday 21 December 2023.

Council's year-end 2022/23 Financial Statements are open now for public feedback and exhibition. The community is invited to submit their comments on these important documents during the exhibition period.

In accordance with Section 420 of the Local Government Act 1993, feedback and submissions relating to the Financial Statements will be received until 11.59pm Tuesday 6 February 2024, being seven days from the publication of this public notice and the Your Say webpage announcing this exhibition period.  

All feedback will be considered by Council and referred to its External Auditors in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993.
