Special Rate Variation: Join us at our face-to-face & online sessions

Consultation on the potential Special Rate Variation (SRV) for Snowy Monaro Regional Council is well underway, with hundreds of community and ratepayer responses already submitted through our Your Say platform.

If you haven’t had your say already – please, take a few minutes to complete the survey before Sunday 22 January 2023, it’s critically important that we hear from everyone.

If you’ve got questions, concerns or just want to speak with us – drop in and see us –our expert staff, leadership team and Councillors  are on-site across the region at pop-up stalls and drop-in sessions.

There are two SRV-dedicated online information sessions next month:

  • Tuesday 10 January 2023 – 5.30pm to 7pm
  • Wednesday 18 January 2023 – 7pm to 8.30pm

You can talk to us about the Special Rate Variation at our Draft Land Use Strategies and draft Local Environmental Plan drop-ins and pop-ups:

  • Tuesday 13 December 2022 – 6pm to 8pm – Smiths Rd RFS Shed
  • Wednesday 14 December 2022 – 11am to 1pm – Cooma Centennial Plaza
  • Wednesday 14 December 2022 – 4pm to 6pm – Adaminaby School of Arts

Any potential SRV would affect every ratepayer in the Snowy Monaro and the tenants that rent property from them.
