Tenders sought for construction of Adaminaby parking areas
Published on 23 November 2023
Council is accepting tenders for the construction of two projects in Adaminaby, a heavy vehicle parking area and a car and caravan parking area.
Tender submissions are open now until 4PM AEDT Wednesday 20 December 2023. All submissions must be fully received by this time. These works are required to be completed before the end of December 2024.
Interested parties must obtain copies of the tender documentation from Council’s e-tendering system www.vendorpanel.com.au using VendorPanel number VP390269. Tender enquiries should be directed to the VendorPanel online forum.
These new improvements are thanks to a grant received through the Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund, proudly co-funded by the NSW Government and the Australian Government. Council is grateful for the generous ongoing support of this program and our government partners.
Located off the Snowy Mountains Highway near the Adaminaby CBD, the addition of dedicated and purpose-built parking facilities will improve safety for motorists and pedestrians, and will help boost visitation to local businesses.
Following evaluation, Council expects to announce the successful tenderer by the end of January 2024. We will share updates as this process continues, and look forward to announcing construction dates in early 2024.
This project joins the significant number of Council initiatives for Adaminaby announced, commenced or completed in 2023.
Work on the major restoration of the iconic Big Trout is expected to be completed by November 2023, an all-new wastewater treatment plant was launched last month, and significant road repairs and upgrades are scheduled for early 2024.
Council is committed to supporting the smaller towns and villages across our region, with substantial investment in infrastructure, maintenance, and major projects throughout the Snowy Monaro in 2023/24.
Completed tender submissions can only be submitted online through VendorPanel, using the schedule supplied by Council through the platform. Respondents will receive a successful submission receipt timed and dated upon completion.
For help and assistance making a submission, please see the VendorPanel online manual located under the support section of the portal site, or contact VendorPanel’s customer support team at support@vendorpanel.com.au or (03) 9095 6181.
Submissions must be fully received by the closing time as late submissions will not be accepted. Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender, or all or any part of a tender, and reserves the right to conduct the request for tender process and select the successful respondent as it sees fit. All responses must be made by online submission. Any response made by any other means will not be considered.
