Description of Work
This standing kangaroo sculpture made of recycled welded steel, stands over a metre tall. The sculpture was entered into the Lake Light Sculpture event. That year's Youth Council recommended it be purchased. With the support of then Councillor Neen Pendergast, the sculpture was acquired. It now enjoys pride of place in the foyer of Council's main office in Berridale.

Artist Statement
Genus ferreous kangarubigineous. The inspiration for this installation was fuelled by the joy of creating funky forms from static lifeless pieces of unwanted materials.
