The proposed upgrades will significantly improve the sporting amenities for the Bombala district by providing facilities that support and encourage increased participation and all abilities attendance at sporting events held at the ground and underpin social gatherings and general health and wellbeing within this sport focused community.
Works to be completed includes:
Council has received the detailed design for the grandstand and is undertaking an initial assessment of the design. We are also working internally to ensure we understand the maintenance needs of the future facility so we can ensure this is able to be managed on an ongoing basis. We will shortly take the design to the PEG for their input and once maintenance funding confirmed, we will commence the tender process.
