Get ready for an action-packed autumn school holiday this April in the Snowy Monaro, with the huge range of awesome activities and events organised by Council’s youth services team.

The holiday fun kicks off on in celebration of Youth Week 2024 on Monday 15 April, with something happening every weekday right through to Wednesday 24 April 2024.

There are pop-up cinemas in Bombala and Cooma, free movies in Jindabyne, a visit to the Tuff Nutterz inflatable obstacle course in Canberra, a skateboarding clinic at Jindabyne Skate Park, and much more on offer across the region.

Running right up to the day before Anzac Day, week two packs plenty into three days with a jam session at Cooma Y Space, mask-making, and an Alice in Wonderland themed masquerade ball to close off the week on Wednesday 24 April. We even found room for a podcast recording workshop in Cooma for kids interested in broadcasting, plus another free movie on offer in Jindabyne.

Best of all, these events and activities are all free for young people right across the Snowy Monaro to enjoy.

These events, activities and excursions are open to children between 12 and 17 years-of-age and registration is required.

Head to www.snowymonaro.nsw.gov.au/Events-directory to learn more and RSVP as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

For younger kids, toddlers, and babies – Snowy Monaro Regional Library has plenty of entertaining and enriching events scheduled for the little ones these holidays. Learn more and discover what’s on offer at the link above.

Council is here to help you keep the kids entertained these school holidays. With so much on offer from Monday 15 April to Wednesday 24 April, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this autumn.
