Jindabyne Waste Facility closed, reopening Friday 22 August 2025

Patrons are advised that Jindabyne Waste Facility is temporarily closed, and will reopen as normal from 9.30am on Friday 22 August 2025.

Waste and recycling disposal during closure

Cooma Landfill is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm while Jindabyne Waste Facility is closed.

Commercial customers can use their accounts at Cooma Landfill as normal.

Residential customers can dispose of all waste and recycling types accepted at Jindabyne Waste Facility at Cooma Landfill.

Council appreciates the community’s patience and understanding during this unplanned closure.
